“Healthy eating isn’t about perfection - it’s about progress.”

Founder of YNS - Elizabeth Roberts (ANutr)
Before university, I thought I had a clear understanding of healthy eating. I ate “cleanly” and limited myself consistently in the name of health. Over time, as I grew my knowledge and skills, I realised that the narrative of health I had been telling myself was a lie. Growing up surrounded by diet culture and social media had warped my perception of health into something disordered and damaging, a reality that is unfortunately very common today.
The human body needs three basic things to survive: oxygen, water, and food. Learning how to fuel my body properly and changing my approach to nutrition has had a profoundly positive impact on my life.
I started YNS to help guide people in healing their relationship with food. Everyone deserves to eat, feel strong, and thrive, without the negative, and sometimes harmful, influence of diet culture
